In October 2024, Monika Stobiecka, our UNESCO Chair Member, took part in the event Obrazy przeszłości. Dziedzictwo (Images of the Past. Heritage) organized by the Voivodeship Public Library and Cultural Animation Center in Poznań. The meeting explored the relationships between visual arts, memory, and heritage in contemporary Poland.
Dr Stobiecka contributed to the discussion with reflections on artistic strategies of engaging with material heritage.
