Monika Stobiecka, our UNESCO Chair Member, co-edited the volume Heritage – Between and Beyond Nature, Culture and Agency (V&R unipress / Vandenhoeck & Ruprecht, 2025) together with Joanna Godlewicz-Adamiec. The book brings together international scholars who explore heritage as a dynamic field of human and more-than-human relations, extending beyond traditional divisions between nature and culture. Dr Stobiecka is also a co-author of the introduction, which outlines the theoretical framework of the volume and reflects on how heritage can be understood as an entangled, co-created, and transformative practice. The volume is in open access.
